Review: The Colorado Kid

The Colorado Kid
The Colorado Kid by Stephen King

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I wasn’t disappointed by the story, but I was a little disappointed by the cover and synopsis on the back. Reading the synopsis, you’re led to believe a girl gets wrapped up in a murder mystery, and ends up being a female Marlowe by the end (or at least a Nancy Drew). This is not the case. The story is actually a couple of old newspapermen sharing a mystery that they were wrapped up in with an intern at their paper. So it wasn’t bad – it’s always fun to read an unsolved mystery story – but it wasn’t great, either.

Good beach read, though.
